About me
I’m Mallory. I’m a registered psychotherapist (qualifying) working with clients in person in Windsor and online throughout Ontario. I support adult and teen clients navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, anger, trauma, and grief. Together, we explore difficult emotions, deepen self-understanding, and develop healthier, more effective ways of expressing thoughts and feelings.
My approach is grounded in authenticity, warmth, and genuine connection, creating a space for laughter, silence, reflection, and feeling. My goal is to help clients build stronger relationships with themselves and with the people who matter most, fostering greater confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being along the way.
How I work
I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy. Often, what this involves is the exploration of how our past experiences and relationships impact our present thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. By looking at how your worldview was created, we can better understand where things like your anxiety, low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties stem from.
My approach is person-centred. I will meet you where you are, try to see the world from your vantage point, and aim to tailor sessions to your needs.
I view therapy as a collaboration. I won’t be the therapist who silently analyses you. I’m an active participant throughout the session, engaging with you, asking questions, and providing support and interpretations.
Together, we can explore what's happening beneath the surface to better understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. By identifying where these challenges come from and understanding how they've developed, you can begin to make more intentional choices and feel a greater sense of agency in your life.
We might work well together if…
You’re looking for a therapist who is direct, genuine, laid-back, and has a good sense of humour.
You prefer a casual, judgment-free environment.
You don’t mind being challenged in a way that is supportive and puts your needs first.
You want therapy to feel collaborative and like a dialogue.
